About Us
Multifacet Lab is an education technology research team based in Ontario, Canada.
We believe the real challenge facing education today has already moved past "how do we raise the grade" or "how do we plan for the next application deadline." Big data, artificial intelligence, and new media are reshaping society at a pace with no real precedent — and what they're changing isn't just how children learn, but something more fundamental underneath: what's actually worth learning, and what kind of work will actually be worth doing.
That's where our research starts. We track how emerging technology is reshaping K-12 education at a deeper level, and turn those often-abstract trends into something parents can actually act on — helping you plan for your child's future career path with a clearer, longer view, during the years when that planning still has room to matter, rather than reacting after the fact.
A research trend only matters once it becomes something concrete and usable. That's why, alongside our ongoing research, we've built this site's practical tools and resources:
- Vocabulary practice aligned with the Ontario curriculum
- Teaching aids and downloadable practice materials across subjects
- In-depth guides to OSSD credits and the university application process
- How artificial intelligence is reshaping the careers of the future
Our goal is to turn Ontario's often-complicated education system — and the emerging technologies reshaping it — into something parents and students can pick up and act on right away.
As technology continues to reshape the structure of society, Multifacet Lab hopes to be the companion you can trust along the way — not selling anxiety, just a clear, steady sense of direction.
