1. What we don't do

• We don't sell or rent your data to third parties
• We don't track your activity on other websites to build a profile of you (with the exception of third-party advertising services — see Section 4)

2. Information collected automatically

Even without registering, visiting the site naturally generates some technical information through your browser and our server — this is true of almost every website:

• Visit logs: for example, your IP address, browser type and version, the pages you visit, the time of your visit, and the site you arrived from. This data is mainly used for site security, troubleshooting, and understanding which content is useful to visitors.
• Browser local storage (localStorage): the vocabulary tool, practice tests, and similar features on this site save information — such as your chosen interface language (Simplified Chinese / Traditional Chinese / English) — directly on your own device, so you don't have to reset it on your next visit. This site is intended for parents and students in Ontario high schools (typically Grades 9 through 12, roughly age 14 and up). We don't design content directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. 8. Data security

Because this site doesn't require registration or actively collect personal information, the amount of user data we hold is very limited. For the small amount of information collected through the comment feature, we take reasonable technical measures to protect it — though no method of transmission or storage over the internet can ever be guaranteed 100% secure.

As the site adds new features — such as formally introducing advertising, affiliate marketing, or new interactive tools — we may update this privacy policy.
